EllisDon’s Digital & Data Engineering (DDE) team recently held their first-ever Annual General Meeting, and we were thrilled to be part of this groundbreaking event.
EllisDon’s DDE team is at the forefront of construction technology, providing crucial in-house support to their project teams across Canada. With over 200 employees, this division manages all of EllisDon’s technical needs, from hardware and software support to cybersecurity and data infrastructure. They’re also the brains behind Gate Three, EllisDon’s proprietary ERP platform. Recently, the DDE team has launched an annual ConTech Accelerator program as well as an industry-specific Tech Consulting group, further cementing EllisDon’s position as an industry innovator by fostering and supporting emerging construction technologies.
Given the DDE team’s widespread impact on EllisDon’s operations, hosting an AGM was essential to showcase achievements, align on strategic goals, and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization. With EllisDon project team members scattered across Canada, and beyond, a virtual format was the clear choice. The day concluded with another high-profile panel, including EllisDon’s CIO, CCO, and Chairman of the Board, exploring the future of construction in light of emerging technologies.
