Front Line Leadership Training
Our client was a fast growth organization with a history of promoting from within. Often employees are promoted into positions supervising team members who were recently their peers. Most often, they have no experience leading teams.
Scope
We were hired to find an appropriate training partner, create the curriculum, provide the training facilities and manage the entire process from start to finish.
Special Challenge - Manage Your Friends
There were two challenges with this project, the first was creating a curriculum for a diverse audience and tying the theory to their reality in a practical, easy to apply manner. Also it was very difficult to remove these supervisors from their daily activities. We needed a centralized location to deliver the programs that would be easy to access and available on weekends.
Solution
We searched and interviewed a number of training providers, selected one, and worked with them to produce a curriculum that worked for the client. We scheduled and held the training at a Learngistics training center that was close to most major highways in the GTA.
